Terms of Use
Last Updated: August 22, 2026
Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before
downloading or using the TickDown Lite mobile application
(the "Service") operated by FutureTek Apps
("we", "us", or "our").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using TickDown Lite, you acknowledge that you
have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not
agree to these Terms, you are not authorized to use the Service.
2. Nature of the App (Free, Ad-Supported)
TickDown Lite is a free application available on the Google Play Store and is
supported by advertising.
- No Download Fee: The app is free to download and use
for its core features.
- Advertising: The app displays third-party
advertisements (see Section 6). Continued use of the app constitutes
acceptance of the display of these advertisements.
- Optional In-App Purchase: You may make an optional
one-time in-app purchase to remove advertisements and unlock premium
benefits. This purchase is not required to use the app's core
functionality.
- Transactions & Refunds: All financial
transactions, including in-app purchases and refund requests, are
handled exclusively by the Google Play Store in accordance with its
Terms of Service and Refund Policy. We do not process payments or
retain your payment card information.
3. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited,
non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to
download and use a copy of the application on a mobile device that you own or
control solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
4. User Data and Backup Responsibility
TickDown Lite operates primarily as an offline, local-first application.
- Local Storage: Your events, tasks, categories, and
settings are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit this
content to our servers.
- Risk of Data Loss: You acknowledge that if your device
is lost, damaged, reset, or if the app is uninstalled, your data will
be permanently lost unless you have created a backup.
- Backup Responsibility: You are solely responsible for
creating regular backups using the app's
Backup & Restore feature and storing those files
securely (such as Google Drive or other external storage). We are not
liable for any loss of data.
- Google Drive Backup (Optional): TickDown Lite offers an
optional feature, available with the premium unlock, that stores a backup
of your data in your own Google Drive, inside a hidden application folder.
If you enable it, you authorise the app to access only that folder. The
backup is held in your Google Drive account, counts against your Google
storage quota, and is subject to Google's terms and privacy policy. We do
not operate a server for this feature and cannot access your backup. You
remain responsible for maintaining backups, and we are not liable for data
that is lost, corrupted, or made unavailable by your Google account,
connectivity issues, or changes to Google's services.
5. Critical Disclaimer Regarding Notifications
Important: TickDown Lite relies on the Android operating
system to deliver scheduled notifications and reminders.
- Technical Limitations: Factors outside our control,
including battery optimization, Do Not Disturb mode,
manufacturer-specific background restrictions, or operating system
updates, may prevent reminders or notifications from being delivered
as expected.
- Not for Critical Safety: You agree not to rely on
TickDown Lite for situations where a missed reminder could result in
physical harm, financial loss, or significant injury, such as medical
reminders, medication schedules, or flight departures.
6. Advertising and Third-Party Services
To keep the app free, TickDown Lite displays advertisements provided by
Google AdMob and, through mediation, additional advertising
networks including Unity Ads and
ironSource (Unity LevelPlay).
- Advertising partners may collect and process device information,
including your Advertising ID, to serve and measure advertisements.
Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies and
terms.
- Where required by law, we request your consent for personalized
advertising through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can
change your consent choice at any time from the app's Privacy
Settings.
- We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements
or any websites or products linked from those advertisements.
- For complete details about how data is handled, please refer to our
Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you agree that you will
not:
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to bypass the advertising or
in-app purchase mechanisms.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the application except where
expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FUTURETEK APPS

INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,

OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FUTURETEK APPS SHALL NOT
BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL,
OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING DATA LOSS, LOSS OF PROFITS,
OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM; OR (B) TEN U.S. DOLLARS (USD $10.00).
10. Updates and Changes
We may provide updates, patches, or new versions of TickDown Lite at our
discretion. We do not guarantee that the app will be supported indefinitely
or that it will function on all future versions of the Android operating
system.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws
of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), without regard to its
conflict of law provisions.
