How do I play?
Tap a tube to lift its top block, then tap another tube to drop it there. A block can only land on an empty tube or on a block of the same colour. Sort every colour into its own tube before the squeeze bar runs out.
What is the "squeeze"?
When the bar at the top empties, the two shortest tubes are merged into one, taking away a slot. The game only ever merges tubes in a way that keeps the puzzle solvable. If nothing can be merged and the bar empties again, the level is failed — you can Continue with a full bar by watching a video, or Retry.
What do HIDDEN, LOCKED, RAPID, HARD, BREATHER and NO SQUEEZE mean?
From level 12 on, some levels change the rules. Hidden: blocks below the top of each tube are face-down until they surface. Locked: the last tube is sealed for the first few moves (it opens early if you run out of moves elsewhere). Rapid: a much shorter clock but an extra spare tube. Hard: one spare tube and nothing to merge — beat the clock or fail. Breather: an extra tube. No Squeeze: no clock at all. The chip on the Play button tells you what's next.
The game says "No way out" — what happened?
The solver checks after every move whether the level can still be finished. If your last moves painted you into a corner, a card offers Rewind, which jumps back to the newest position that is still solvable. The first rewind per level is free; later ones cost an undo or a short video.
How are stars awarded?
Par is the optimal number of moves. Finishing at or just above par earns three stars; up to 1.6× par earns two; anything else earns one.
What are gems for?
Gems buy hints (a highlighted best move) and +20 seconds on the bar. You earn gems for every solved level and star, or you can watch a video instead of spending gems. Gem packs are also available in the shop.
What is the Daily Squeeze?
One puzzle a day, the same for every player at your difficulty tier, with no rule twists. Beat it for stars and gems; replay it for a better score (only the stars you gain over your best that day pay out gems).
How do streaks work?
Solve at least one level a day to extend your streak. Day 3, 7, 14 and 30 pay a gem bonus. Missing a whole calendar day resets the streak to zero. The 🔥 pill on the home screen shows your streak and how far the next reward is.
Where are the leaderboards and achievements?
Tap the trophy row at the bottom of the home screen, or Settings › Leaderboards & achievements. They use Apple Game Center; if you haven't signed in, iOS will offer to. Game Center is optional — the game is fully playable without it. There are three leaderboards (Best Level, Total Stars, Longest Streak) and twelve achievements.
How do I turn reminders off?
Open Settings in the game and toggle Reminders. Reminders are local notifications only (daily puzzle, streak at risk, and a nudge after a few quiet days) — nothing is sent from a server.
I lost my progress after reinstalling or on a new device.
Progress syncs through iCloud. Make sure both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud enabled for Stack Squeeze (iOS Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Saved to iCloud), then open the app and wait a few seconds. If it still does not appear, email us.
I bought Remove Ads but still see ads.
Open Settings › Restore purchases while online. Note that rewarded videos you choose to watch (for hints, undos, extra time or Continue) are always optional and are not affected by Remove Ads.
I watched a video but did not get my reward.
The reward is granted only when the video finishes. If it completed and nothing was granted, email us with the approximate time it happened.
Ads are not loading.
Check your internet connection and reopen the app. Ad availability varies by region and time of day; the game never blocks you when no ad is available.
How do I change my ad privacy choices?
Open Settings in the game and tap Privacy options. This option appears where consent choices are required by law. Tracking permission can be changed in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
How do I turn sound or haptics off?
Open Settings in the game (gear icon on the home screen) and toggle Sound or Haptics. The game also respects the ring/silent switch.
How do I report a bug?
Email us with the level number, what you expected, and what happened. A screenshot or screen recording helps a lot.
