Sudoku Master for iOS — Effective date: September 29, 2026
FutureTek Apps ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Sudoku Master application for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what information the app handles and why.
To work as a game, Sudoku Master saves the following locally on your device only:
Statistics, achievements and the puzzle in progress are also synced between your own devices through Apple iCloud (Key-Value Storage), under your Apple Account. We cannot read that data; it is stored by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. Signing out of iCloud or disabling iCloud Drive stops the sync. Otherwise this data never leaves your device unless you back it up. It is included in your normal device backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) under Apple's terms. Deleting the app deletes this data. You can also clear statistics from Settings › Reset statistics inside the app.
The app uses Apple's Game Center for leaderboards and for an operating-system copy of the achievements you earn. It is entirely optional: if you are not signed in, nothing is submitted, no sign-in sheet is forced on you, and every feature of the game still works.
When you are signed in, the app submits:
Leaderboards are public by their nature: a score you post is shown to other players next to your Game Center nickname and avatar, which are set by you in iOS Settings, not by us. Game Center is operated by Apple and the data is held by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy; we never receive your Game Center identity and cannot connect a score to any other data in this policy. You can sign out, or restrict Game Center entirely, in iOS Settings › Game Center and under Screen Time. Settings › Reset statistics inside the app also resets your Game Center achievements.
The app includes Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. They collect:
We use this only to see which features are used, fix bugs, and tune difficulty. It is not linked to your identity, is not used for advertising, and is not shared with anyone other than Google as our processor. Google's handling of this data is described in the Firebase Privacy and Security page.
Opting out: turn off Share usage & crash reports in Settings › Privacy inside the app. Nothing is sent while it is off. Deleting the app also removes the Firebase instance identifier.
Retention and deletion: Google Analytics event data is retained for 14 months and Crashlytics reports for 90 days, after which they are deleted automatically. Because this data is not linked to you, we cannot look up a specific person's records; if you want us to try to delete data associated with your device, email us from the address below and we will handle it within 30 days.
The free version of the app uses Google AdMob to show ads in these placements:
The last two are switched on and off remotely and may not be active at all times. Buying Premium always removes every ad.
To serve and measure ads, Google's SDK may collect: device information (model, iOS version, language), a coarse location derived from the IP address, app-instance and advertising identifiers, and interaction with the ads (views, clicks). Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and Google's Privacy Policy.
Personalised ads and tracking. Before the first ad is loaded the app shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland a consent form. If you decline, ads are still shown but are not personalised and the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used. You can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking, and (EEA/UK) re-open the consent form from Settings › Privacy › Ad privacy options inside the app.
Premium turns the ads SDK off entirely: no ads are requested, no consent form is shown and no advertising data is collected.
Premium is a one-time purchase processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. The app checks your purchase with the App Store on your device (StoreKit) so Premium is available on all devices signed in to your Apple Account, and Family Sharing works where Apple supports it. Purchase records are held by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location. We do not run a server of our own; the only third parties that receive data are Google (Firebase, and AdMob in the free version) and Apple (iCloud sync, the App Store, and Game Center if you are signed in).
Downloads and the Premium purchase are handled by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. Apple may share aggregate, anonymised download and crash statistics with us as part of App Store Connect, if you have opted in to sharing analytics with developers in iOS Settings. This information is not linked to you.
If you tap a link in the app (for example to this page or to support), it opens in your browser and is subject to that site's policies. If you choose to rate the app, the review prompt is provided by Apple.
The app is rated 13+ on the App Store and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Ad content is limited to Google's "Teen" rating or lower, ads only play as an opt-in rewarded video, and Premium removes them entirely.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
